Renault to cut output by 500,000 cars due to global semiconductor shortage • FRANCE 24 English

French carmaker Renault will be rolling out half a million fewer vehicles this year. That's more than double its previous forecast. The company says it should be able to maintain its profit outlook, despite the chip shortage, by hiking car prices and cutting costs.
