Internet celebrity economy is on the rise. According to Forbes, in 2020 only, the top 10 YouTubers had a total income of $201 million. If advertising and consumption are included, the YouTubers have leveraged an industry that far exceeds this number. In China, the livestream e-commerce industry represents a trillion yuan market, and is increasingly enclosed by a complete industrial chain.
