Deadly floods leave more than 40,000 displaced in Indonesia

Al Jazeera, 19 Jan 2021
At least 15 people are dead and more than 40,000 have been forced from their homes as floods inundate regions in Indonesia’s South Kalimantan province.
The floods began in early January, but the rain has not stopped.
Environmental groups say deforestation to make way for palm oil plantations and mining is making things worse.
