How countries use fear and intimidation to silence critics beyond their borders

A growing number of authoritarian governments use fear and intimidation to silence exiles and diasporas who challenged their rule and are now living overseas. Nate Schenkkan, director of research strategy at watchdog organization Freedom House, joined CBSN's Elaine Quijano to discuss the phenomenon, known as transnational repression, and how people who fled their home countries to escape harassment are still subject to threats and violence in other nations.
