China’s Lunar New Year travel rush is often referred to as the world’s biggest annual human migration, with hundreds of millions of migrant workers leaving coastal cities to reunite with their families in their home villages. But under the shadow of the Covid-19 pandemic, many have chosen not to go home this holiday season, even though it's one of the few times of the year that they can visit family and friends.
