Pressure is growing on the Manitoba government to hold an inquiry into why former fashion mogul Peter Nygård has evaded criminal charges in Winnipeg, despite 20 accusers stepping forward.

There are calls for the case to be investigated by someone other than the Winnipeg Police Service, a push for new prosecutors to examine the evidence and disciplinary action against Jay Prober, one of Nygård's lawyers.
