COVID-19: More police patrols to target rule breakers

Anyone thinking of breaking the lockdown rules have been warned that police 'won't linger on encouragement' when they are caught.

Martin Hewitt, the chair of the national police chief's council joined Home Secretary Priti Patel in urging people to stick to the rules.

He said the lockdown would be more vigorously enforced by police forces across England.
