On tonight’s top story: An Ontario judge has convicted Alek Minassian of 26 counts of first-degree murder and attempted murder in the Toronto van attack of April 2018. Lawyers for the 28-year-old argued he wasn't criminally responsible because of his autism, but the judge rejected that defence. In explosive testimony, former military ombudsman Gary Walbourne alleged that in 2018, Canada’s Defence Minister Harjit Sajjan refused to look at evidence of sexual misconduct allegations against Gen.
