Guardian, 24 Mar 2021
A container ship heading to Rotterdam has run aground in the Suez canal, blocking other vessels from transiting one of the world's most important waterways. Video posted to social media showed a traffic jam of ships waiting to pass through. The 200,000-tonne ship, the Ever Given, is 400 metres long (1,312ft) and 59 metres wide (193ft).
