Labour's Shadow Work and Pensions Secretary Jonathan Ashworth has told Kay Burley Conservative MPs should "get rid of Boris Johnson" in response to the latest leaked partygate photos.

He told Sky News: "I think it's very difficult for Boris Johnson to reconcile what he said at the despatch box where he said there wasn't a party with these pictures that have emerged and bottles of drink everywhere.

"The issue is he lied at the despatch box. And the sole focus of this government is Boris Johnson's political survival."
