French teachers voiced anger on government's confusing rules of handling the COVID-19 pandemic during a nationwide strike. Within a span of a week, authorities changed the rules on testing schoolchildren twice. The Minister of Education Jean-Michel Blanquer outlined rules in an interview on January 2, and the French Prime Minister announced different version of rules on testing schoolchildren only few days later. Teachers are also demanding higher quality masks, more testing at schools and devices in classes warning when ventilation is required.
