Al Jazeera, 08 Sep 2021
The trial of 20 people charged in the November 2015 attacks in Paris is about to begin in the city.
Among the accused is Salah Abdeslam, who is thought to be the sole surviving attacker.
The proceedings - six years in the making - are expected to last nine months.
One hundred thirty people were killed in the attacks and hundreds more injured in what has been described as the worst violence in France since the Second World War.
