Simone Biles wins balance beam bronze in gymnastics return

Simone Biles won bronze in the balance beam on her high-pressure return to Tokyo 2020.
The 24-year-old four-time 2016 champion held her nerve with an impressive double pike dismount off the beam, but, with a moderately lower difficulty rating than normal, she was beaten by a one-two for China.
Her return was one of the most anticipated moments of these Games - but puzzlingly for British viewers, BBC One chose not to show it live, instead screening highlights while iPlayer showed Biles in action.
