Arlington school shooting: Police in Texas city say suspect in custody, 3 people in hospital | FULL

Arlington Police Assistant Chief Kevin Kolbye announced Wednesday afternoon that the suspect in a shooting at a school in the Texas city was in custody and he would face three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He also said all three victims were "OK" and in hospital. One of the injured was a student.
According to police, a fight broke out in the school earlier in the day and the suspect pulled out a gun and fired several shots. Four people were injured, but one only received minor injuries and refused medical attention. The other three, one of whom was a student and is in the intensive care unit following surgery, were taken to hospital. An adult male is in good condition, with a female expected to be released soon.
Police said most students have been safely evacuated from the school.
Kolbye added a weapon was recovered in a separate community and it was being sent for ballistics examination. Grand Prairie Police Chief Daniel Scesney added they believe it may be the weapon involved in the shooting but could not confirm at this time. He also said they found no other threats after searches and there is no further threats to the community at this time that they can determine.
