COVID-19: Help on its way as Alberta's pandemic patients struggle

As Alberta hospitals struggle amid a deepening COVID-19 crisis, the Canadian military, the Red Cross and other health workers across the country are on their way to assist the overwhelmed province.
The help comes as doctors groups call on Alberta to implement more health restrictions to bring infection numbers down. But the virus is already taking a heavy toll on the province's patients.
One of those patients is Jilleen Oar, who contracted the coronavirus just before she was set to get her first dose of the vaccine. As Heather Yourex-West explains, Oar is now in intensive care.
