Sydneysiders welcomed an unexpected visitor when an Australian fur seal came ashore at a surf beach. A crowd of onlookers watched on as "Reg" rolled around on the sand at Manly Beach in the city's northern suburbs. To keep the public safe, authorities cordoned off a section of the beach and have warned beachgoers to stay away from the mammal or face heavy penalties.
