France’s Macron marks bicentenary of Napoleon’s death

France has marked 200 years of the death of Napoleon Bonaparte, who ruled France and much of Europe in the early 19th century.
It is a sensitive commemoration, as Napoleon was also a despotic leader who reintroduced slavery to French colonies.
