Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer is set to carry out a reshuffle of his shadow cabinet team on Sunday amid internal party tensions over his sacking of Angela Rayner as party chairman.
Greater Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham - tipped as a potential successor to Sir Keir after winning a thumping majority to secure a second term - warned the Labour leader that the sacking was "wrong" and former shadow chancellor John McDonnell said it was a "huge mistake".
