As COVID-19 variant cases continue to grow in Alberta, there is a push for more restrictions – but Premier Jason Kenney is under pressure to keep businesses open. Heather Yourex-West reports.

There is growing recognition that the age-based vaccination strategy needs to be modified to include younger essential workers. As Abigail Bimman reports, the Canadian federal government is also under intense pressure to get more vaccines into this country faster.

In the U.S., President Joe Biden announced that every adult in the country will be eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine by mid April. Jackson Proskow has more on America’s accelerated vaccine strategy.

And, Mercedes Stephenson has more developments in the investigation into Gen. Jonathan Vance, as the country’s former top civil servant testified at the national defence committee and apologized for the way the sexual misconduct allegations against Vance were handled.
