Montreal man survives weeks of coma and hospitalization from COVID-19

CA, 12 Apr 2021
Sixty-five-year-old Peter Scoufaras, of Montreal, is now able to enjoy sitting with his family at a distance after spending weeks in intensive care of COVID-19.

Doctors were never able to explain why the virus attacked him so savagely. Amanda Jelowicki spoke to Scoufaras, whose story of survival serves as a warning of how unpredictable COVID-19 can be.
