India: Crowds form outside vaccination centre as supplies run out
Telegraph, 28 Apr 2021
Vaccination centres in India's western Maharashtra state ran out of vaccine doses even as the country prepares to immunise all over the age of 18 years.
In neighbouring Pune city, Kamla Nehru Hospital also reported unavailability of all kinds of vaccines except the second dose of indigenous COVAXIN.
India’s Covid-19 death toll has exceeded 200,000 after a record number of 3,293 fatalities were reported on Wednesday, as patients across India continue to pay extortionate black market prices for oxygen and essential medicines.
