Rural vs Urban: Where are food prices higher?

Canadians are continuing to face the pressure of inflation, and one of the biggest squeezes on their wallets happens when they head to the grocery store.

Depending where they live, some people can face higher prices for that carton of eggs or loaf of bread. A range of issues from difficulty transporting food to gas prices and even competition between stores can influence what prices you might see when you go to the store.

Sean Previl takes a look at the urban versus rural divide, why food prices can vary if you live in a big city or small town and why you as a consumer may still have choice even with rising costs.
