Shell has paused its annual general meeting in London after it was disrupted by environment protesters chanting 'We will stop you'.

Investors are due to vote at the event on Shell’s climate proposals. The company has come under increased scrutiny after a senior safety consultant quit, citing Shell's 'disregard for climate change risks' and accusing the company of causing 'extreme harms' to the environment
