Telegraph, 28 Nov 2020
Police clashed with anti-lockdown protesters in Oxford Street on Saturday with activists hurling bottles and charging through ranks of officers, leading to over 60 arrests.
Grassroots activist group Save Our Rights UK had planned a series of demonstrations to take place across the weekend in London to protest against the second national lockdown.
Ignoring earlier requests by the Metropolitan Police and London Mayor Sadiq Khan to remain at home, demonstrators assembled at Marble Arch before marching through Hyde Park, Regent Street and Oxford Circus.
