Trump's ex-campaign manager hospitalized for psychiatric evaluation

RT, 30 Sep 2020
Brad Parscale, Donald Trump’s former campaign manager, has been hospitalized for psychiatric evaluation after his wife called the police for assistance with his “crazy” behavior.
Fort Lauderdale Police turned up at the couple’s Florida home after Candice Parscale reportedly asked a passing stranger to call 911. She told them her husband was armed and had locked himself in their home, threatening suicide.
At the start of police bodycam footage, she is heard telling officers her husband was “going irate” and had “cocked his handgun.” An officer then speaks to Parscale by phone, asking him to come out of the house unarmed.
We then see Parscale leave the house, shirtless, barefoot, and with a beer can in his hand, and slowly walk towards the officers. As he starts to explain to one of them, “She started saying all this shit...,” he is tackled to the ground by the police and handcuffed.
The police reported that they had seized 10 firearms from Parscale’s home – six handguns, two shotguns, and two rifles – but that he had not been charged with any crime. He has been detained under Florida’s Baker Act, which allows a person to be involuntarily confined if they are deemed to be a risk to themselves or others.
Officers noted bruises on Candice Parscale’s arms, which she said she had sustained during an altercation with her husband a few days prior.
