Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Xie Feng accused the U.S. of treating China as an "imaginary enemy" and trying to suppress China during talks with U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman in north China's Tianjin Municipality on July 26. The two countries have continued to clash across a range of fronts in the past few months since their first high-level meeting in Alaska in March.
