Chinese fishermen have been reeling in bumper catches since the start of September. On Zhejiang Province's Qiandao Lake, dozens of fishermen netted a total of 80,000 kilograms in their first catch of the season. In Jiangsu Province, Hongze Lake in Huai'an has entered hairy crab harvest season. The hairy crab, also known as the Chinese mitten crab, is a special autumn delicacy. Hairy crab farms on Hongze Lake now cover 5,695 hectares.
