US President Joe Biden has told the Nato summit that transatlantic security is the world’s “greatest strength” when it comes to responding to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Nato Secretary of State Jens Stoltenberg also told the summit that higher energy costs as a result of Russian sanctions were a price worth paying for "freedom”.
